Re: Descent Underground - Kickstarter goal reached!
Now things are going to get interesting. I'll be honest I was surprised to see the funding go through, mostly because of their lackluster introduction at the beginning of the KS. I pledged $80 anyway, and know I am very glad I did. I am very excited to observe the development of this game through ...

Re: Descent : Underground. Did anyone here knew about this?
Back in 2012 I was excited to back star citizen and elite in anticipation that someone somewhere would reboot descent. It seemed inevitable especially since 90's fads are coming back both in pop culture and in the gaming industry. I thought SolC was the closest, in my opinion, to bringing that feel ...

Re: Descent : Underground. Did anyone here knew about this?
Personally.. I liked the idea of Sol Contingency a lot better. I may throw 30 dollars at this.. But I was really hoping to at least try SolC. I have backed both Star Citizen, and Elite. I just don't know about this new reboot yet. But the fact that it has something to do with Descent really peaks my ...

So.. are they going to be hit with a Cease and Desist letter from Interplay also? Or did they pony up the cash raised from Star Citizen?

Re: Counter-Strike...on your phone?
If you go to the Play Store you can find "Counter-Strike Portable" which is pretty much the same thing but has a lot more players, and support for higher res phones and tablets. I've been waiting for a descent build to pop up for quite some time. Maybe steam OS will help jump start some development ...

Re: Anyone Playing DayZ or Arma III Alpha
I have been playing Arma 2 CO for the past 9 months or so, and Arma 3 since the alpha release. As i tell people it's a bit complicated and daunting at first but once you figure out all the controls and get your joystick mapped, it's on. My experiences with Arma 3 or good so far, but i can really ...

Pretty neat. Isn't this how District 9 got started? Maybe we'll see something like this on the big screen soon. It looks pretty interesting.

Re: Precision X wonders (GTX 670)
After fiddling with it a little more i got the voltage to stay at 1175mv, core clock at 1038 and memory at 1677. Ace is right the interface is what was getting me confused because it wouldn't save my settings. I think I'll try afterburner instead. After setting my card to those clocks however, I saw ...

Precision X wonders (GTX 670)
Hello, I just recently picked up a reference EVGA GTX 670 after being completely fed up with AMD's catalyst drivers and support for 6950's in crossfire. The card runs like a dream and couldn't be happier. However I wanted to experiment with overclocking and try to get it up to maybe 680 speeds but ...

Re: The SSD megathread.
I just purchased a sandisk 240gb extreme ssd which has performed very nicely with the games that I frequently play. Performance gains are mostly just loading times, but its nice and zippy, and reboot times are very fast. I used to have a WD 500gb 7200rpm HD coupled with a 60gb crucial m4, which ...

I played the original Forgotten Hope and loved grouping up with real RP players on 128 man servers. It was a great time. It would be nice if EA would open up Battlefield 3 to modders.

Re: Any BF3 Players out there?

Also, having origin on my new system makes me uncomfortable compared to trusted apps like steam. However, i am looking ...

I've been playing the Caspian Boarder map on my new PC a lot this weekend. It's really fun and i especially love the sound effects. The game plays great on 32 man servers, and a tad bit laggy on 64 man. Tried Operation Metro on my ps3 and it was surprisingly enjoyable in my living room.
