Going away for a while
Over the past few months I've noticed that when I've had bad days in my real life, being on this site has made them worse and not better. I need to take a step back to reexamine some things, and that's going to be much easier to do without that weight on my back. So I'm going to be taking a break ...
Re: Evolution
I did get a little heated after Jeff's post misrepresented the entire point I'd been trying to make. If that was indeed a genuine misunderstanding, I do owe him an apology, and I apologize. From where I was sitting, at the time, it looked more like he had picked out one sentence and deliberately ...

Re: Evolution
Debating even without expecting to change anyone's point of view can still be worthwhile -- however, even if all you intend to do is defend your position, without objectivity or common ground you're not even doing that. It just might feel like you are -- right up until the moment the next person ...

@LightWolf, mostly Just gonna pop in here and point out that this whole discussion looks like a massive illustration of my point from the end of that other thread. What? But without murderous AIs how will anything ever not be boring?
You never realize how much fun you're having, until suddenly you realize your life is in danger, and you think, "nobody could make this up!"
Or do you not want fun stories to tell the grandkits?

Right now I just have a screenshot of the editor that's too big to post... let's see if I can quickly fix that before I leave work. Looks like I can! playing around.jpg I've added a little more since this but it's still fairly accurate to what I've got so far. About 225 segments for all this. If I ...

I think without putting a reactor object in a reactor segment, the countdown length might be altered and some of the endlevel "door open" triggers might not work properly.
Although exits obviously still do....
Not 100% sure

Yeah, should have clarified -- having to jam single notes when the pitch-changer is set to full is only for low notes on the seventh string. Hard to say for a specific level, but I've got a small pack I've been working on for Overload almost since that game came out -- partly because I kept interrupting it to build other levels for the two community DLCs and JosheM's challenges, and partly because my free time situation isn't really what ...
