The example link in the first post of this thread comes up looking normal to me without any weird symbols.

edit: on my laptop they're fine but on my main box they're the symbols...weird.

OK, I can't be sure but I think that's an font or charachter set issue most likely caused during the transfer of databases.

basically the quote symbol is converted to a non standard character.

Not sure how to fix this one, unless maybe one of our resident programmers could write a little app that will covert these characters back to what they should be.
