Code tags

Post by Kilarin »

Why do code tags not seem to produce a fixed width font?

Code: Select all

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
123456789*123456789*123456
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

I have the pre and many other bbcodes here, I haven't installed those yet.

I don't remember if the old code tag used a fixed width font.

I thik the \"PRE\" tag is different in that it maintain tabs and such. The fixed width is totatlly different.

Anyway catch me on teamspeak.

The code tag has always been fixed width on every other forum I've used, which doesn't mean it HAS to be here.
Also, it is defined as fixed width in the descentbb bbcode help files.

It may have always been that way here, I just never tried to use it before. Having a fixed width font available is VERY handy at times, but I can certainly live without it.

I am trying to get the mods that were in the dbb prior to the move back it , we have a wierd combination of files here, anyway I'll most likely remove the expand feature anyway and the fixed width should return.
