Logitech auto-loaded their 4.70 drivers and now, i have no assignablity on my buttons. For the longest time, I couldn't even get Windows to recognize my mouse and every ime I boot up it sees an unidentified USB device. When I got through the steps it STILL doesn't know what it is. (not that that surprises me)
I did manage to install the older version that came with the mouse on the disk and I got the menu (which no longer exists on the newer version - it simply vanished) and most of the buttons work as prescribed, but some do not in various situations in games. I assume driver updates addressed this.
Anyways. My question is has anyone else had trouble with the 470 drivers? Any idea how to repair this? Roll back to a save point in windows?
Mouse Trouble
Hm.. looks like they borked their drivers. 8 pages on their forums with the same issue i have. It's nice not to be along.

Ok, uninstalled a LOT of stuff. ALL and anything logitech. There were some folders in uninstallshield and a file in the system32 folder that needed to be dealt with. (deleted) I used CCleaner to take care of the stragglers; rebooted and reinstalled 4.60
No problems now ... except that it's still trying to install an unidentified usb device.
