OK, you can say i'm noob... OK, that's fine... also you can say i'm a fk lammer...
OK, that's also fine... and yes, i'm a mouselooker...
But do you PLEASE (i beg you) know of any server that may allow mouselooking? C'mon, perhaps you play with Joysticks but there should always be a place for everyone... or at least, tell me how to create a multi game in Vortex... pleaseee....
I'm not aware of any server ops that would voluntary host a game w/ mouselook enabled since it's a huge advantage for mousers (about 50% of the players). I certainly wouldn't, sorry.
Time to get out of the noobie hole and join the big guys
You need to forward the udp ports 20142 and 2092 in your internet router settings and then you can just start a multiplayer game and it will be shown on the trackers. If it doesn't work, check if this tutorial can help you:
Although it is designed for DEDI servers not game hosting. check that thing about \"trackers.cfg\" - you need that one and link it in your commandline settings.
Anyways: Grendel is absolutely right: There is no future for mouselook and it will not be worth the work as people will leave the game if they see you \"cheating\"...
Nope. Mouselook gives you the ability to turn instantly like orbs could in earlier versions of Descent. It's in most normal first person shooters because slow turning there is unrealistic and bad for gameplay, but the idea of turning a vehicle around in a fraction of a second doesn't work so well.
Take it from these guys, they're right. No self-respecting D3 server-op is going to allow mouselook. It breaks the physics of flying vehicles, and gives mousers an unequitable advantage.
If you really want to play that way, stick to singleplayer or host your own server. Just don't be surprised that most players don't like mouselook.
