How to play a Multiplayer game in Descent 3

I use vortex to find server. But when I click on join game and it says connecting then goes to the main menu not the server. How do I fix that

You have probably another version of D3 than the server - download 1.4 patch, if you already have it then i dunno

Also make sure you have the level downloaded before you join.

When it brings you to the main screen, select your pilot and hopefully it wil continue from there.

guys I put the 1.4 patch on there and that worked. thanks for the help
