I dont know how many times ive been in a game and insted of hitting Alt to slide i hit that freakin windows key and by the time i get my screen back up im scattered all about the mine.
Well no more.
Theres a couple ways to do this
1. Manually by editing your keyboard maping. (a real pain if you dont know what your doing)
2. Go here
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/216893 and click on \"fix it for me\", follow the little wizard and it will edit the windows registry codes and dissable the windows key on the left and right of the keyboard.
you will need to reset for this to take effect.
3. This is a nifty little program that makes it easy to change the functions of certain keys on your keyboard as well as disable any keys you dont want. (use at your own risk)
http://www.randyrants.com/2008/12/sharpkeys_30.html
Just get the zip file and get to changing your setup

You use alt to slide? I think you need to ask in one of the other forums for a decent config.
Also, I just rip my windows keys out. No fooling. I never use them, ever, so I just pried them and that other misc key off.
I'd buy a keyboard without windows keys if it were available.

Or you can just get a G-Series logitech keyboard that has a physical switch for gaming mode( disables win key )
I seem to have a better workout dodging your stupidity than attempting to grasp the weight of your intelligence.

Or you could open note pad and copy and pasta this in to it
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Keyboard Layout]
\"Scancode Map\"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,00,00,5B,E0,00,00,5C,E0,00,00,00,00
save it as disable_both_windows_keys.reg then import it.

If you do this physically for the windows key but you still need to use the function....
to open the windows start menu just hit the keyboard shortcut 'CTRL-ESC'
ENJOY

And if thine Windows Key offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee.

Alt Key to Slide Up?
That seems backwards to me, considering nothing is below the Alt key. This got me thinking... Me and a friend of mine have the exact same config, but another friend is totally different. Post your config!
A = Forward
Z = Reverse
W = Slide Up
S = Slide Down
LShift = Slide Left
X = Slide Right
Q & E = Bank Left & Right
LCtrol = After Burner
Space = Drop Bomb
Alt = Rear View
Middle Mouse Button = Flare
