This is really PISSING ME OFF! Have any of you had to open ports on your router to get one of these newer DRM locked

PC games to work? How safe is it to do this? No solutions other than THIS one have been given to me by support bozos that will solve the
cannot connect to server problem. I only want to play single player too, so I don't need to be connected to someone's damn server! I'm almost tempted to get the cracks for these damn games because I sure can't get my money back!

new evil you have to be connected to the internet all the time to play the effing game DRM scheme has just about gotten me to the point of NEVER buying a PC game ever again, and I just got a new system to play with!

I've run into this with Bioshock 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction. I haven't played either yet!
Also, has anybody here used the Virtual PC program from Microsoft that emulates XP on a Win 7 system and how well does it work?
