WTF? Check out this satellite image from North Korea. What the hell is the Scarlet Pompadour up to? Trying to hide something under the smoke maybe?

Those look pretty darn big. I guess they're not really into forest preservation, this year.

I had heard that people were so hungry in N. Korea the peasants had resorted to eating tree bark...maybe they're learning to cook their food now?

it's normal. nothing to panic over.
those fires arn't particularly big.

(those glowing dots are IR signatures, falsecolour superimposed, ie: not real)

last year's local summer fires.

bushland, pwned :P

hey cool this is my city behind those islands and sandbars at the top, nothing to worry about, something's always burning somewhere *shrug*.
