Mine dosn't work.

They were turned off on the UBB awhile ago, and they weren't turned back on when we made the transition to phpBB (I suspect Topher actually removed the checkbox from the template, as phpBB does not actually carry the option to turn off signatures).

Yes it does. You don't have the ability to disable viewing of signatures per user, but you can disable individual people's signatures, as well as signatures from the board as a whole.

I miss them a little bit. Too bad there wasn't a way to customize the template so that people could abuse sigs the way they did on the other board.

You know, force the 3 line rule we had. Maybe even allow up to only so many characters. Prevent customizable colors and sizes and disallow images. That sort of thing *shrug*

Ok, ok, I turned sigs back on.

Current rules:
1. Must be three lines or less.
2. No color.
3. Cannot consist of any characters not inclusive of this set {0x0A, 0x0D, 0x20, 0x09}.
4. No frickin' colors.
5. No bold/italic/underline/flashy.
6. To help enforce three lines, your sig be passed through trim(), so just be farwarned.
7. No images.
8. No crappy quotes.
9. No jokes (ex: "SPAM!","This is a joke" or "7 8 9")
10. Don't abuse them or you'll be sent to mother Russia where sig abuse you!
11. So help me if you use a blur tag.
