They're drones. The pilots are onboard the mothership, in cubicles, piloting the drones remotely.
Izchak says: 'slow down. Think clearly.' April Fools Day is the one day of the year that people critically evaluate news articles before accepting them as true.
I think the ideal situation will be a good game that makes good money. This way Descent will again be a game-play phenomenon in 2016 and attract new gamers to the genre in the same way the earlier games did.
Sigma, I think you need to get your mind out of the gulag, and give this group of developers a little bit of space/respect in doing their thing. They went for crowd-funded, and have cultivated community contribution in order to steer their game in a direction that will satisfy gamerS. What they didn't do is put a leash around their private parts so that folks who don't like the tenor of their project can give it a good hard tug. I think some folks get one confused with the other.
When you **** with this project you're ****ing with their livelihood. That's why it's important to be constructive in your criticism.
Consperacy theory: What if there are no more pilots and the truth is we're all drones. We're in the mother ship, except we're in a matrix-light virtual reality that let's us think we're flying pyros, when in reality we're just flying bots that are killing pyros.
Of course, I would like to try the alpha-beta

That came out of left field. No we were not bought out. We're just working hard on good stuff! XD
I'll tell you one thing. For D:U is just a business project. While SOLC warms my soul.
I have already said several times that if the new game will be hacked and posted in open access in Russia, which means that it is high quality and good game. Although I am always ready to purchase a licensed copy
