personality wise, which do you think is closer?

someone's thoughts on the munsters.

(i'm not that familure with curious george. but i know that generally curious kids grow into smart adults)

Well, to say the Munsters is a social allegory is also to lump in other things like the X-Men. The Munsters was more broad than the Addams Family though, whose humor was always darker and more macabre. Though it was probably conceived as a way to compete with the Addams Family, there's something to be noted about how the Munsters think they are so normal, and yet they scare the crap out of their neighbors.

Bush looks a lot more like the monkey.

I calls em as I see em and while Kerry does bear a startling resemblance to Mr. Munster, he is no where near as close as George is to George.

Since there are by far more people that look similar to monkeys and none that I can think of that look like Herman Munster, Kerry wins hands down.
