Looks like a Moose picked a fight with the power company, and lost!

Line workers in Alaska were running a new service, and while pulling the line tight, they noticed a problem. After backtracking the line, they found a moose hanging from the wire 50ft in the air!

Evidently it was mating season, and the moose attacked the cable... cable got entangled on his antlers, and viola! Moose burgers! :)

No, it said that they decided not to drug it because the drugs would destroy the meat. The moose was terminated, and the meat was "donated to a local resident" [homer] Mmmmm..... Moooseburgers [/homer]

The moose apparently got its antlers tangled in electrical wire before workers farther down the line pulled the line tight about two weeks ago.
ahh, i thought maybe the moose had got caught in an avalanche and tangled in the wires that way, then the snow melts.

very surreal :)
