no.. that was the neighbor girl .. I ran her over trying to get away.

I talked to my wife.. come to find out, she has been keeping track for the last two weeks how many calls we've gotten from political parties and polls. all totalled it's something like 99 phone calls and 20 to 25 people going door to door.

We had 3 people come to our door just today. O_o .. I'm getting an unlisted number .....

No it doesn't, they'll still be calling and leaving messages. We've had an insane number of messages left by one of the people running for the Texas House. All of them from the area code for Arlington, VA, when I live in Austin, TX. Then there's all the mailings he sent out, too. I'm just hoping that when all the votes are counted and recounted (at current tally he's ahead 150 votes), he loses. Not that his opponent doesn't seem like a sleazeball, but she didn't have any calls except one, and she didn't do quite as much mudslinging.

All this crap that people do (calls all day to vote for certain people) if anything just will make me not vote for that person. Usually the more someone tries to force their name in your face, the worse they are for the job (since they're trying to make up for being a moron).

they still call. that's a ton of messages. We Weren't picking up the phone. and I screen my calls anyways. I side with Plebeian. this stuff puts me out and gains them no favors. When I get really po'd, I get spiteful no matter what the cost.
