Man, I love a good "toe" shot
man, not a single stick in there... all mousers

I noticed that as well. I think they may have bought in bulk. It looks like their computers are the same.STRESSTEST wrote:http://rdo.unirep.ru/party9/img_0004-descr.jpg

Looking at the plans and reports for this LAN party and others, it seems that these folks generally rent existing LAN gaming facilities for a certain period of time in places like St. Petersburg or Moscow rather than congregating at someone's home or bringing their own equipment to a large facility. That's why everybody has essentially the same equipment.
For the curious:
img_0004-descr.jpg - The only person with a Russian caption is "Olesya". The stress would be on the second syllable of her name, so it would be pronounced 'alesya' (or 'alesa') with the 'e' as in the English word 'bet'.
img_0005.jpg - FC is holding some sort of bread (which I can't figure out) and a carton. As near as I can tell the label on the carton says "Domik v derevne" which is the brand name "Cottage in the Country" of the product "kefir" which is Russian for "yogurt".
img_0076.jpg - This is a view looking toward the Kremlin and its towers which are crowned with red stars (although they are hard to make out in this photo). Here is a description:

img_0079.jpg and img_0082.jpg - I couldn't figure out what the building in these photos was to save my life, and there is a good reason for that. The structure is the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and it is quite new:

Wow, it's interesting to see a topic about our lan-party here.
Akula65, thanks!
Well, as i remembering we were playing Pyroglyphic 2 (anarchy), Varicose for J-oh (CTF), Burning Indika 3 (anarchy), Abend 2 (hoard), Fury - insomniac (anarchy), Brain Salad Surgery and some other levels.
Few words about computers: we have large number of existing LAN gaming facilities ('computer clubs') in our country. Last time we were playing in one of such clubs. Most of us are mousers, but participants are free to bring their own equimpent like Nostromo or sticks with them.
To TheCops: what do you mean by that?
