nice art eh? but this isn't an image by Robo, this is a real natural image, snapped by Cassini. (btw it's clickable, and one click again from there will get you to a bigger version)

that's real. and it's out there. imagine seeing that with your own natural eyes one day, sounds like a pipedream outof a comic book doesn't it? but that day will eventually be just as real as the day is today

Edit: I'm also purchasing a mounting for my telescope this weekend that will let me take photos. Saturn already looks cool through my telescope but the camera will enchance it

even livejournal happily uses their bandwidth (boo), i'm sure nasa is fine with this, i'm using the same url that the POTD syndicated feed on livejournal uses. they are the all giving bandwidth genies bless their spaced out geeky hearts.

I'm quite positive you probably won't survive the blast, or the atmosphere, or space but perhaps your debris might make it there someday
