I know I've repeated myself several times in this thread, but I'm going to say it again.

If you don't want people to know where you are, then don't post it anywhere. ESPECIALLY on a high traffic site like Planet Descent. It only took five seconds for me to find out the general area where you live, and another five minutes to localize your house via google earth. I'm not saying this to freak you out, but thats the honest truth. Besides, while some of us may be a bit....vocal, nobody has killed anyone.

Now you're more than welcome to look me up, but just so ya know the satelite image is only three and a half years out of date. It was still under construction!

I removed all of my images. And thanks.

Your information will inevitably end up on the web. Do a scan at http://www.zabasearch.com/ for your name (and a few of those you know). It misses a lot of the time, but it also sometimes comes up with a LOT more info than you thought was available.

So, yes, make an effort to avoid putting sensitive info on the web, but when that effort fails,

DON'T PANIC

Because panicking just draws attention. Your best defense from an information breach is not to point it out to people with a lot of desperate attempts to plug the hole.
