I'm somewhat at a loss as to how to setup a tracker with the tracker.pl file included with D2X-XL.

If it's as simple as adding the script to the default runlevel and starting it as a service, I'll feel like a moron.

The most likely place to find instructions would be on the descent2.de site. If it's not there, then I guess the best way to get assistance would be to ask on the forums there (as much as having to register for another forum might be a pain, not many of the D2X-XL experts frequent the DBB much any more).
