Played the demo on the 360. Pretty much a yawner.

Does this version have joystick support?

Does it have anything for which joystick support would be useful?

I've seen some videos of what the engine can do - it does look pretty sweet. Only concern I have is that the developers for the PC version are basically a stripped-down reincarnation of Outrage. Hopefully they can make a port play slightly better than D3 did.

Answering a question with a question…nice.

Well since I can’t use a mouse to play games, it would offer “me” the choice to play or not.

Can't use a mouse? Carpal tunnel or ... no, that wouldn't do it... a joystick would be just as bad, surely.

This one looks like a third-person action game instead of a first-person shooter... doesn't live up to the original idea for red faction. =P

I played it.

It's actually very fun, I like it alot.

Haha, it's funny though, they have the \"singularity bomb\"
which strangely resembles the black shark missile... Hmmm.

Well, I think that may be the final nail in the koffin, Volition stealing ideas from the last Descent game. To that I say RAAAAAAAAWRG!

They did a nice job with this new version. THQ should buy descent and sierra's swat games, for a new version... :(
