Trying to get a wireless laptop to connect I deleted the Wireless network adapter from the Device mgr a couple of different times.
Now I notice that his \"Wireless Network connection\" under Settings/Network connections has the number (3) beside it.
Can I get back to the original?

Network connections can be renamed. Just right click it and select rename.
