I think by now most of us have had their fill of the so called prisoner abuse stories and the 9/11 commission showboating. So in light of my diabolical mindset, if I had the power, I would put Uncle Saddie on trial with all the covarage that O.J.'s trial had. Not only would attention be diverted from the Kookla Fran and Ollie hearings, but the abuse label affixed to a few of our prisoner guards would be shown as Micky Mouse Club hijinks compared to the torture that testimony against Saddam would bring out. A second benefit would be to remind the Iraqi people why we are there in the first place. Alas, it is not in my power to do so.

Yeah, would be nice. *sigh*

I'm unsure of the source. Always raises interesting questions, especially since this Nick Berg thing happened exactly as the prison abuse thing started taking full storm. check it out....
