Happy mothers day

Ahhhhhh, thank you CUDA. You do have a sweet side. I wish my mother was still alive so that I could take out for mother's day. She was my special confidant, comrade-in-arms and friend. I'll forever miss that.

My wife and I are still fortunate, we both have both our parents in their 70' and 80's

Still I hope you can enjoy your memories of your time together

You're both very lucky. Cherish them while you can. My husbands parents are both gone as well, but we still have our siblings. I have a stepfather left too, but not we're not as close. As morbid as this sounds, I still have a container with half my mother's ashes, stored in a closet. One half is already been spread upon her favorite ski mountain, with one hell of a view, while the other half is supposed to go with my stepfather's ashes when he dies. He's 81 now and still going strong, so she will have to wait awhile.
