This just in from South Korea. How many of us believe this will be Trump's first move in the U.S. after his inauguration? Does anyone think our Houses of Congress will use the Constitution to try and stop him?
Well, it looks like South Korea democracy 1 and wannabe dictator 0.

Well, Spidey, are we next? Trump is crazier, angrier and has more deluded followers than Yoon, has more nutty, angry sycophants in both Houses of Congress willing to do his bidding and is naming even more stupid unqualified butt kissers to cabinet posts in American history. That's not including nearly half this country's crazy MAGAt's willing to go out kill liberals for Trump on his say so alone. I guess we'll have to see if our military is MAGAt infested enough to do Trump's bidding when push comes to shove.

And Canadians think Trudeau is an idiot. He fails to come even close to the idiocy of what Trump will do in the next 4 years.

Well, they'll get to watch the evil idiocy of our Orange Turd here for the next 4 years. At least Trudeau doesnt have delusions of dictatorhood.

And that's what blows me away about you guys. He says he's going to do the thing, you don't belive him; even though he has a track record of doing the thing, and when he does the thing he said he was going to do, you guys just sit there and go "I can't believe he did the thing; he can't do that thing - it's against the rules!". It's like you guys just never learn with this guy; or you guys imagine him to be something he's not. Reality is breaking down the door with a fireaxe and you're asking what's causing the splinters.
Wake up, already.

Make no mistake Ferno, I believe him. The fact that all of his cult members in Congress would back him up makes it even more plausible. Most MAGAt's in this country would cheer him on too, woody being at the top of the list since these people have been sucking on a right wing firehose of hate the left for so long it's now a drug fix. But you're right that most Americans don't believe he would or could do it. We've been fat and lazy for far too long to believe someone could possibly overthrow our Republic. My brother believes there are enough checks and balances to stop most of Trump's worst plans and he voted for Harris. I told him I believe so strongly that Trump will destroy the very fabric of this country that holds it together I quit speaking to our sister, who voted for Trump. She is now dead to me since I hate Evangelical Christians to the ends of the earth.
By the way Ferno, since you're Canadian, I hope Trudeau has a backbone and tells Trump to go to hell. He'd better not weenie out under Trump's threats and kiss his ring like Joe Scarborough did after the election. Same for the Mexican president. MAGAt's voted for tariffs, MAGAt's gets to feel the PAIN of tariffs.

Trudeau will bow down (maybe). He did stand up to India about the murder on CDN soil.

Y'all forgot the last time Trudeau and Fuckface Von Clownstick interacted.
Trudeau knew the bull★■◆● "power handshake" was coming and braced against it.
Days later... "Trudeau is weak!" because Trudeau showed just how much of a pussy he really was.

Trump isn't dumb. Not by a long shot. He says dumb things because he knows we'll latch on to them and discuss at length just how ridiculous they are.
Another reason why he's not dumb is he used delay and distraction techniques, taught to him by smart and evil people to stay out of jail.
Now before you tell me he's dumb, consider this: stupid criminals go to prison. If you're not arrested, you're not stupid.

Ferno, the ONLY smarts that foul turd of an excuse for a human being has is manipulating people for his own gain. He's very schooled in the art of getting what he wants and making people give him what he wants. That's it. Daddy taught him well, except on how to keep a business viable and profitable. Every business enterprise he's gotten into has failed and the only reason he has any money is because he stole it from suckers. Other than that, he's as dumb as a rock, a thief, a cheater, a womanizer, a convicted of sexual assualt felon, an egomaniac and a power hungry moron. One doesn't have to be intelligent to be a smart, evil asswipe. Have fun Canada, for the next 4 years, or more. We're going the become that nightmare neighbor that makes you want to sell your house and move as far away as possible.

I had a think about all those businesses he created and let fail.
I'm almost certain that all those businesses were made specifically as a front to funnel money into operations he wanted hidden. One popped up almost as fast as the previous business fell.
He conducts himself as a mob boss, so that would track to his behaviour.

A grifter only has to be smart with one thing, how to con a sucker to part with his/her hard earned money. I'm quite sure his $100,000 watches are NOT made in Switzerland. The profit margin would be too small. Most concerning is his crypto push, and now he'll be able to use the government to back that up and make loads of money off of our backs, because with every scheme, there's a plan for him to become richer and every sucker to become poorer. We are the suckers, even MAGAts.
As a kid standing in the grocery store checkout line I would see the National Enquirer magazine and wonder ‘Who is the audience for this crap?’
I currently have the same thoughts when I see a bit of the discussion on The View.
But in this thread I see the answer is, they do exist, albeit in limited numbers. My ‘fear’ is that number could grow!
Yes Trump is a complete asshat but even he knows the culture that our volunteer military forces are built from is nothing like the culture needed to send troops against the civilian population in the manner you guys are crying about.
Why don’t you understand what even he can grasp?!?
The difference in mindset between the assassin in manhattan and some of you guys is murky trending to non existent.

I guess this is all a great experiment. The underpinnings of rage and the willingness to act on that rage are all now present. The craziest MAGAt's want to kill anyone on the left in any form or fashion and many are members of our government and military. They're quite vocal about it too. You can dismiss these people as crazy, but they make up a large proportion of our population. Religion is also mixed into this hate, and that religion is deeply woven into our military. The Air Force Academy is a prime example. Evangelical Christianity has made an unholy alliance with the military, so the question is, would they act on presidential orders to go after American citizens, especially since these people believe the word of Trump is the word of their Savior?
People in the U.S. are fed up with high health care costs, but are they willing to force change, even if it includes violence? This one seems to cross party lines because losing one's life do to the callous decisions of an insurance executive wanting greater profits pisses people off. Why? Because wanting to live is a survival instinct and people will do anything to live. The large numbers of people cheering on the assassin is evidence of that. How long before the fuse is actually lit for some form of revolution, either due to class, religious or political reasons? Or are Americans just too fat and lazy to remember the lessons of the past and force change? Will the next Trump presidency be the match that lights that fuse? I'm willing to bet it will be.

Americans wanting/celebrating healthcare CEO deaths didn't just come out of a vacuum. The $5 trillion dollar annual price tag on our so-called healthcare is certainly the primary contributing factor, but also despite the exorbitant cost the overall quality is not particularly good by most objective metrics. It wouldn't surprise me if America's healthcare cost is greater than the rest of the world spends combined, with a fairly significant portion of the rest of the world receiving higher quality care being salt on the wound. Even the dumb MAGA people can see that 20 minute routine checkups with standard blood tests running up 4 figure costs that take months for the bills to stop randomly popping up is concrete proof of unbelievable amounts of waste and or straight up fraud.
And the other obvious cause is of course the equally insane levels of wealth inequality, CEOs having multiple orders of magnitude more wealth than even the national average is a recipe for violence no matter what country you are in.
The political right has gone extremist pretty much globally, it shouldn't be a surprise that the left is now doing it too. I guess with Obama, Hillary, Biden, and Harris the American political left has been repeatedly trying "Lets be reasonable and work solutions out in the system." to which conservatives have repeatedly gone "No! Destroy!", and so we have now reached the point where some on the left are going to decide "Okay, we can do unreasonable too...".
With conservatives sweeping the government and having people like Trump and Musk in positions of real power, it is a pretty reasonable expectation that many on the far left are going to lose hope, and people without hope have nothing to lose which makes it much easier for them to resort to violence. Perhaps the irony of it is that conservatives basically called every bland centrist "radical left" or "extremist left" during the last election cycle, but now the actual radical/extremist leftists are much more likely to surface and it probably won't be pleasant for any of us.

But for real though, I actually hold some views associated with communism now thanks to the insane country we live in. Though in reality, there communist ideals even right-wingers agree with but they don't know it because most of them have a diet rich in propaganda.

And that's what scares me. Portland, OR is full of young, radical leftists, anarchists mostly, although the stupid right likes to call them "Antifa". They are not Antifa. They want to destroy everything too and they are pissed off. You just know these young people are waiting for their time to come, to act, to cause violence and chaos, mark my words. They will go after capitalists and business owners, because that's what they did during the pandemic. Trump will deliberately do something to cause that fight, because that's what HE wants. Chaos will keep him in power, even as the economy collapses, because then he can blame the evil left, not his own insipid policies, which will set off our country's downfall. His followers will rise to the occasion with violent glee to confront the leftists, because these people believe everything fed to them through their right wing propaganda outlets.
