SP2 - TCP/IP internal error

SP2 - TCP/IP internal error - "Unable to Query host name"

A friend installed SP2 on a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop, 866M processor, 833MHz & 320MB RAM.

Now he can't get on the net and gets the above error.

Any ideas?

Try a "Repair" on the LAN connection. Lately my IE does the same thing, "repairing" the connect fixes it for a while :/

"Repair" didn't work and haven't tried fix yet.
