phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=148735#148735

i wanted to leave it at the end of that thread for a reason.

i feel kb made a bit of a 'judgement call' that might have been a bit over the top... but still a judgement call none the less, however, i have to admit that i have never known a bb to allow flagrant post editing.

it has always been delete and message the user. if it only needs a slight tweak... then it isn't bad enough to not wait til you talk to the user. :)

i think it might be time to overhaul the policies. (especially the black on black text!!! :P)

Mods have edited other people's posts many times before in the past, I dont see why we now all of a sudden have to make an issue out of it. When you signed up for an account, you made your post subject to editing by the admins and mods. The End.

which is why i think the 'policies' page should be changed to reflect changes... and just be updated in general. :)

policies page has been fixed.

I was wrong I shouldn't have edited the thread, I should have deleted it.

After fixing that policies page I read what Sup and I wrote, man I forgot how adamant that I was that no text be edited at all, if it was deemed inappropiate I should have deleted the offending post completely.

Top Wop I think alot of things are going on, one you have an old admin that remembers the dream, but hasn't been around to see real life on the DBB.

I don't think the drama was needed. But that's another story in a different thread.
