Screw the bloodsucking vampires
This apparently was a targeted hit and I can't say I feel sorry for the prick. So, are people getting fed up with the rich healthcare CEO's and their expensive screw the docs health insurance? I had to drop United Healthcare as my Medicare Part C insurance last year because the local hospital and the local clinic docs got tired of the low reimbursement rates and dropped them as a preferred provider. I didn't want to drive miles to another city for hospital care just because they like to screw our docs for their profit.

Whas this a hitman hit job or are we about to call him a vigilante, like Green Arrow?

No sympathy for this guy, but he probably wasn't killed for ★■◆●ing over his health insurance customers. (which IMO would be great!)
He probably fucked over some other ultra-wealthy ★■◆●, because that seems to be the only reason these fuckers ever see consequences.

Oh, this was a targeted hit. Apparently, the words "deny," "defend" and "depose were written on the spent casings. The guy is even smiling for the cameras. And he had a suppressor mounted on his pistol. That's an NFA stamp item, so somewhere there's a record of purchase. He also knew how to quickly clear a jam as well since he had it happen a couple of times during the shooting. Not an amateur, but he had a crappy pistol or ammo.

The motive is going to end up being something like a grudge over refusing to trim a tree that blocks the view of the neighbors 45 million dollar mansion.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
It is very amusing how the internet has basically zero sympathy for the dead CEO. I mean, it makes sense, UHC is particularly terrible (I would know, I'm actually stuck on it), and Americans are literally forced to spend $5 trillion (yes, trillion) dollars annually on healthcare. So if you wanted to have the free space on the bingo card of "universally hated individuals", "healthcare CEO" would definitely be an easy contender.
So yeah, first thing I did when I saw the news was go to some of my co-workers with "Well, I guess we aren't the only ones who hate UnitedHealthUNcare.".
I really hope the guy who did it never gets IDed or caught, gets away with it clean. It would be great to have him be just some mystery boogieman for shithead wealthy CEOs to always have to be watching over their shoulders for. Because, you know, a CEO of a for profit business actually doing good in ways that make them publicly popular will never ever happen.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
Unfortunately, there are some very good pics of his face. Plus, he apparently checked into a hospital under a fake name and stayed in a room with 2 other people right before he did the deed. And the pistol he used was kind of special. Kind of sloppy planning don't you think? To add insult to injury, the dead CEO just got a 10 million dollar compensation package too, on all our backs.
Oh, and maybe this put the fear of God in Anthem Blue Cross. They just canceled their capital idea of only paying for fixed length anesthesia rates, even if the surgery took longer than their fixed rate.

That it’s hard to tell if it’s real or fake is a good example of the vital role of executives as the organization's key drivers of success and as exemplars of leadership and professionalism.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
Indispensable pillar of the American healthcare system. Yeah, right.
Getting rid of this whole machine would make our health care far cheaper. In my town, there's a whole office building full of employees managing just one of the insurers in my county, which is currently my insurer and not United Unhealthcare. What's interesting is that this anger is crossing party lines. Some on the MAGAt side are hoping Trump will fix the problem. Uh huh, with R.F.K at the helm.

Yeah, I don't want to see him caught. He's become a hero, as sick as that sounds. Meanwhile, on the nationalized health care front, it's a very popular concept.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
I heard on the radio today that private security forces are getting swamped with calls by insurance company executive teams lol. Like they are just now realizing that even as divided as America is on basically everything, there is one thing that brings basically the whole country together in a beautiful show of unity: Wanting healthcare CEOs ★■◆●ing dead!
I really hope the overwhelmingly positive public response to this killing gives all these big executives crippling anxiety disorders. Maybe it would help them to understand just a tiny fraction of the pain and suffering they have inflicted on society as a whole.

They still haven't caught the guy. They know he's no longer in New York however. Next up for a little fear perhaps, big pharma execs? Time for a French Revolution? We sure aren't getting national health care for the next 4 or more years no matter what happens, at least under the reign of the Orange Turd and his trillionare sidekick Elon Mush.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
I dont know why Minnesota is ground zero for this heavy stuff. George Floyd the whole world starts pretending its the 1960s, the CEO of UnitedShaftCare out of Minnetonka takes 3 in the back and NO ONE CARES (of course that company was denying 30% of filings), some of the 9/11 highjackers took flying instruction at Flying Cloud airport. Bob Dylan, Prince, Paul Westerberg, and the Nerf ball are all from here.
I think I may be Jesus and Paul Westerberg wrote this song 40 years ago about his health care coverage lol

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
The thread in SA that catches most of the discussion about this killing has some talk about the ultra wealthy preppers and the luxury bunkers they have constructed in places like New Zealand. It has some excerpts about how they were trying to figure out how to keep their private security forces in line after "the event" and apparently several of them were seriously floating the idea of explosive collars they could remote control to decapitate disloyal members. When one of the consultants suggested if they want to keep their security forces in line they should, you know; make friends with them and treat them like family, it was disturbingly poorly received by the wealthy prepper audience. That they would have to make human and personal connections with their own security forces in the absence of being able to simply exert economic power made them react with either confusion or disgust.
If you think about it for a second, you realize that these ultra wealthy prepper types who build luxury doomsday bunkers have already abandoned society and the rest of humanity in their minds. They don't care about anyone else past, present or future, its all about them and only them. The rest of the world and humanity is a resource to be exploited until it is used up and then they discard it. If they really cared, instead of building hugely expensive luxury doomsday bunkers, they would spend that money on ways to try to avert such a social collapse in the first place and throw their lots in with everyone else.

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
Makes you wonder if Elon Musk is tied up in that prepper mentality since he's one of the richest pricks on the planet, and perhaps has his own little bunker somewhere ready to move into. So would they even invite a loser like Trump into their cabal, or is he just their society destroying pawn? I'm betting pawn. Trump isn't even in the same class as the ultra rich.
I noticed these mismatched details one day about that shooter as well, shown in the video below. No one in the press has said squat and neither has the NYC police. And that assassin would've had to have been a massive idiot to show his face ANYWHERE in NYC, and I don't think he was that stupid. Now the police are catching heat to find this guy and they're now looking for a scapegoat just to appease the rich and now fearful health care CEO's.

What does it say about humanity when the person to the direct right of a street hit makes sure not to drop their coffee as they scurry away mid-shooting?

Re: Screw the bloodsucking vampires
That not dropping your coffee is a sort of automatic reflex? You spend your entire life working to not spill glasses of liquid you carry around with you, it would almost be weirder if they tossed it in a moment of panic when the coffee in their hand was probably the last thing they were worried about. Your first response is to run away, not to drop everything you are carrying and then run away. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if a significant number of people in a similar situation would run away while carrying a stack of books because there is no mental energy available in the moment to realize dropping the books might help them escape faster.

Well, he'll probably be long dead before that dream is realized at the rate he's going with his Space X Starship. But frankly, if he succeeds, Mars can have the bastard. Trump's already planning on canceling NASA's SLS moon rocket and I'm guessing that money will suddenly end up in Musk's company while he sits in the halls of government as a Trump stooge.Krom wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 12:26 pmStop wondering. I read something even weirder, and it kind of makes sense, that this CEO orchestrated his own death, suicide by hire. Think about it. How does this shooter know exactly the where the CEO was going to be walking and at what exact time, which was very early in the morning? This is the CEO of a major corporation, out walking down the sidewalk all by himself at 6:45 am with no friends or security in the middle of NYC? Something doesn't add up. United Healthcare and it's leadership was already under a massive securities fraud investigation by the DOJ too. He and his wife weren't even living in the same house.

Well, I wouldn't put too much stock into that theory if I were you. It's probably easier to believe that he knew the CEO would be there by simply reading the press briefings every company publishes.Tunnelcat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2024 12:51 am I read something even weirder, and it kind of makes sense, that this CEO orchestrated his own death, suicide by hire. Who knows. Stranger things have happened. They're also floating around comments that this guy was a professional. But if he was, he got sloppy and didn't dispose of the gun or stay away from busy places with people who might recognize him. Personally, if I saw him, I'd shake his hand and tell him to run.
